ISAMP Best Thesis Award, 2023

Dr. Roby  Chacko was awarded the ISAMP Best Thesis Award at the 23rd NCAMP 2023, held at IIST Thiruvananthapuram. Dr. Chacko received his PhD in experimental atomic and molecular physics  under the supervision of Prof. G. Aravind, from IIT Madras, Chennai.

Post Doc opportunity

The Ultrafast theory Group (https://ultrafastlabiitb.wixsite.com/ultra-fast) at IIT Bombay, India  is looking two Postdoctoral Scholars on light-matter interaction on attosecond timescale. The postdoc will develop new theoretical methods to perform ultrafast electron dynamics simulations, where matter (atoms/solids) interact with intense ultrashort light.  The focus of this project will be investigating applications of high-harmonic generation in solids for technological applications like valleytronics and quantum computing.
